There comes a point where taking class is not enough.
You do not just want to learn.
You want to become someone visible.
The Shadow Room is a guided multi-week immersive container where your ideas become real, your presence sharpens, and your solo performance begins to exist in front of other people.
This is part of The Game — an evolving performance world built around presence, participation, archetype, visibility, and live audience response.
You will not be watching.
You will not be waiting.
You will be building.
Two Ways To Enter The Room
The Shadow Room currently unfolds through both virtual and in-person participation.
Some participants work entirely online.
Some enter physically.
Some move between both.
All participants are part of the same evolving creative environment.
In-Person Room
Sundays • 10:30am–12:30pm
Chicago-based immersive creation lab focused on movement, burlesque mechanics, rehearsal, act development, live interaction, and embodied performance presence.
Virtual Room
Wednesdays • 7:00–8:00pm CT
Live online participation focused on identity, archetype, confidence, audience dynamics, visibility, nervous system calibration, and creative development inside The Game.
Both rooms contribute to the same unfolding performance world.
No prior performance experience required.
What You’ll Create
Inside this experience, participants may build:
- A solo burlesque act or signature performance piece
- A stage name, persona, and identity concept
- Stronger confidence in being seen
- A body that knows how to hold attention
- Musical and visual direction
- Performance footage and usable content
- Real momentum beyond passive learning
What’s Included
Weekly Virtual + In-Person Rooms
Live guided participation environments for creation, rehearsal, identity exploration, and performance development.
Persona Development
Archetype, image, tone, identity, authority, presence.
Act Creation Support
Music, structure, timing, pacing, audience impact.
Movement & Performance Mechanics
Burlesque vocabulary, stage presence, pacing, audience awareness, and performance flow.
Group Support
Optional accountability, guidance, and progress check-ins.
Documentation
Photo, video, clips, and content assets as opportunities arise.
Live Performance Opportunities
Participants may eventually be invited into intimate live immersive performance opportunities when ready.
Not everyone enters the room at the same speed.
The goal is not perfection.
The goal is participation, authorship, and visible evolution over time.
The World Beyond The Room
The Shadow Room exists inside a larger immersive performance ecosystem that includes live cabaret experiences, audience interaction, character development, and evolving performance opportunities inside The Game.
Participants may eventually find themselves contributing to productions such as:

- Future immersive performance environments and collaborative creations
The work does not end in rehearsal.
It continues in front of other people.
