Egypt will use this workshop to help you birth a new version of yourself packed with tools to add to your Burlesque, Self-Love, and Confidence Toolboxes.

I am GNC/cis/trans masculine. Are your classes for me?
Although my burlesque practice focuses on feminine energy and the exercises and language I use unapologetically center femininity and womanhood, my workshops and classes are open to all bodies – just as they have been for 13+ years!
What do I wear for burlesque class? What kind of shoes should I wear?
Wear clothing you feel comfortable moving in. For Floorwork, we dance barefoot. For other Chicago burlesque classes, explore heels you’d like to wear confidently.
Is there a performance at the end of the 8-week session?
Yes, at the end of each 8-week session, we hold a student showcase where everyone is invited to perform at a local Chicago theatre.
What level of experience do I need to join your burlesque classes in Chicago?
No experience is needed. Burlesque is unlike any other dance genre in that it’s a free and open-movement style. Whether you’re brand new to moving your body or an expert dancer, you’ll feel comfortable in my classes.
How’s parking?
There’s plenty of metered parking outside the studio and plenty of free parking on the side streets.
Do you accept other forms of payment?
Yes, I accept cash, Venmo, Paypal and other forms of payment. If you wish to pay this way, please contact me in advance to reserve your spot in class.
