What do I wear for burlesque class? What kind of shoes should I wear?
Wear clothing you feel confident and comfortable moving in. We dance in heels, gym shoes, and barefoot – whatever feels best for you. Feel free to bring heels you’d like to wear confidently!
Are there performance opportunities?
Yes, I produce and host regular monthly Chicago burlesque shows that everyone is welcome to participate in.
What level of experience do I need to join your burlesque classes in Chicago?
No experience is needed. Burlesque is unlike any other dance genre. Because of its natural, free-movement style, it’s great for new & expert dancers alike.
How’s parking?
There’s plenty of metered parking outside the studio and plenty of free parking on the side streets.
Do you accept other forms of payment?
Yes, I accept cash, Venmo, Paypal and other forms of payment. If you wish to pay this way, please contact me in advance to reserve your spot in class.
I am GNC/cis/trans masculine. Are your classes for me?
Although my burlesque practice focuses on feminine energy and the exercises and language I use unapologetically centers femininity and womanhood, my workshops and classes are open to all bodies – just as they have been for over 13 years!
